The software engineer role at Salesforce encompasses architecture, design, implementation, and testing to ensure we build products right and release them with high quality

Your impact:

• You'll architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products in a fast paced company.

• Making sound design decisions on the basis of performance, scalability, and future expansion.

• Mentoring others in development technologies, tools and processes.

• Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.

• Partnering with teams across Salesforce in aligning and building out unified long term plan and resources to support it. Communicate up, down and across organization on current state of features that you work with.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in designing, developing and releasing high-scale web applications.

• Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and experience with at least one OOP language (Java, C++, C# or Python).

• Strong understanding of commonly used data structures, algorithms and design patterns.

• Knowledge of Database technologies such as MongoDB, SQL and relational database schema design.

• Experience in automated testing, including unit and functional testing using frameworks such as Mockito, JUnit, Selenium, etc.

• Intermediate/Advanced English skills.

• Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in operation and knowledge of AWS.

• Experience and development/operation background of containerization technologies (such as Kubernetes).

• REST APIs and general API design.
